Alright, so this battle was close as hell. SPuL came with a pretty good verse. Some of the shit was still played and not hard hitting like they key / locked out line. But, some of it was pretty dope. He came with quite a few nameplays, and I thought a few of them were good. Hotshh started out slow in his verse. I remember thinking like, it was ten lines in and he only had 4 lines of quotables. He started picking it up though. He did have a lot of older wordplay though. Like, address / a dress, outstanding / out standing, mass (short for Massacheutts) / preachers.. shit just wasn't fresh. Hotshh! still came with some good shit and that line about SPuL battling himself was dope even though it wasn't worded into a massively hard hitting punch. That was just one of those shits where you post the link and it speaks for itself. UMass shit was cool.. Just, an overall pretty nice verse too. So, what it came to me was quotables and SPuL has them in favor of 8-7. He gets my vote. Dope ass battle though, for real. This shit could go either way.
