No-show verse...

The city of lights no longer shines brightly as dark clouds arrive
Where our music is dominated by a society awfully gone awry
When a war soars, even the ordinary people lose their acumen
Without the notes floating as jazz is banned, called subhuman
Patiently waiting on our troops overseas to come and appease
But in the eye of the devil, it’s a quest to find these piano keys
Hunted like deer whoever enjoys to hear…feel the atmosphere
Of swing instead of fear while the Nazi regime is marching near
So there have been made changes to the names and exterior
Of former festive occasions going up in flames but not interior
The core remained because the soul of it would never ever die
Corpses falling on the floor but our music knows no good-bye
