The Simpsons and Futurama take it by far. Matt Groening is one of the few people who have successfully made more than one animated series without repeating the same formula, and both are still entertaining. Mike Judge also did this, with Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill. Look at American Dad, it's the exact same thing as Family Guy, only it tries wayyyy too hard to be funny.
