When I say it will increase knowledge, it's because the government isn't gunna just pay out reparations, if they did, it would be long and drawn out and more people would know about WHY it would be happening and WHAT actually happened back then then there are now.
What you're doing is trying to make it too personal. It isn't all based on individuals, it's based on groups. You're trying to put it like every single person within a group has to do such and such and it will be okay when in fact, it has to be the group united on a common goal. I don't blame white people for anything in my life other than the fact that my history is low and my people are shunned. I know what I have to do to be successful but that doesn't mean everyone does. What about the crackbabies and rape children and all those other people who don't GET the chance to have parents who know wtf they're talking about? And what if my parents don't really explain to me what kinda shit is going on? I know I can find out on my own, but when you're 18 and just finding out, it's too hard to try and pull out. Then, I can blame my parents for not teaching me, or the foundations of it all, and for good reason, I wouldn't blame my parents. I would blame the foundation because I never know if my parents were in my shoes as well.
