Have you ever recorded to another artists beat, like maybe an Eminem beat, or 50 Cent beat? Or anything along those lines?

I want to, but isn't it illegal?

I thought the copyright law was something like, you can use other artists beats, but you can't sell more than 1,000 copies of an track without permission to use the beat, because you can only use it promotional purposes basically. But I don't know.

So have you used famous rappers beats to record before?
