Lol, you're seriously labelling the internet as "society"? Is it really that important that I prove I am somehow useful to the internet?
And even if helping other people online was as high a priority to me as you make it out to be, you'd still be making an invalid point. When I first started here I was a lot worse than I am now. In the time I took to get better, I read other people's battles. I didn't look at the tutorials, and I kept my asking people for help at a bare minimum. So if I'm not directly telling kids how to improve, it does not mean that I have no part in the elevation of other people.
