Am I qualified to discuss what the bible says? Maybe. There are courses in theology I could take and degrees I could earn. Can I prove to you heaven exists? NO. That's not my job. Did Jesus exist? From a historical stand point, yes. I believe he existed as much as I believe Alexander the great existed. Is Jesus the son of God? I believe so.

Oh...and for the record...I don't have a degree in theology but took courses in college on the bible. I've also been in church since I was a child and have been taught extensively on both the old and new testaments. Does that make me an expert? Probably not. But, I certainly understand much of the scripture and the context in which it was written.

THEO-LOGY!!! THEORY is not FACT. If it were fact, it'd be called Factology. And like YYOOOOOUUUUUUUUUU said...if someone hasn't done it, then technically they're not qualified to talk about it right? So what qualifies you to talk about anything in the bible, you haven't done or personallywitnessed any of it, so by your own definition, you're not qualified to speak on it. Why are you contradicting your self? Studying theories for the rest of your life still proves aboslutely nothing. It's jsut a theory.

You just said it's impossible for science to prove anything about the soul, but now you magically predict that science will prove the exact opposite of what someone else already DID prove? BTW, "scientists" state something is a hypthesis when they can explain the consistent results. Not so they can retract a statement later down the road. Please learn how to read before you try to talk down to anyone about anything.
