You can't paint the picture of hip hop history fully without paying homage to Public Enemy. They are, without doubt, one of the most significant rap groups of all time. Chuck D's intensity on the mic is unparalleled, IMO. And, their political/conscious raps would be a God-send right about now.
Definitely buy "It takes a nation of millions..." by them.
