I've intentionally made this thread, with an open mind. So far, no one has told me anytyhing i didn't already know....Or something I didn't already agree with....
Being black, there is no way for you to know, that something that may be considered racist, is misunderstood...or misconstrued...(i never once said, or implied, or believed..this was refferring to everything that you go through, just a part of it)
Being white, there is no way for me, to understand, or know exactly what it is you go through on a day to day basis.
How the fuck ever, being white, there is a very easy way for me to know....shit is misconstrued all the time as being racist, when really it's not.
How do I know? Because it's happened to me, and for you to dismiss that it's happened to me....is just as ignorant as you see me, as thinking I'm dissmissing all the racism you claim to recieve...especially when I'm not claiming racism doesn't exist, i'm not claiming you don't see racism every day....I'm claiming racism isn't as strong, as a lot of people think....that point of view is not a matter of being black, or being white, and to feel that it is...is ignorant in itself...extremely ignorant, and hypocritical....
all I'm saying is, racisim isn't as popular, as a lot of people think....I've proved that, easily...if you disagree, it's holding yourself hostage in a world that doesn't exist like you think it does. This is a world where racism DOES exist, and it IS strong....but the only time progression can happen, is when realization occurs, and people stop holding themselves back.
