I just wish people would be more tolerant. I went to a church 3 years ago where the preacher was a bigot and a homophobe. I was spotty in my attendance that year. So, I would go once a month or so. It's a large church, btw. I found it interesting that every time I went, he had some disparaging remark to say about gay people. This bothered me because I knew it wasn't coincidence that every time I showed up, he made an anti-gay remark. Logic tells me that he make anti-gay remarks ALL the time. Anyway, I rarely ever heard him preach against the other obvious sins in the bible. His sermons consisted of money and gay bashing.
Then, one Sunday, he broke down and admitted he was molested as a boy by his older brother.
hmmm...I didn't have to be a psychologist to tell you he was struggling with those issues based on how he acted towards gay people.
Jesus rarely every spoke on the topic. And, even more, focused on love than anything else. So, when I said "satan I rebuke you," I meant just that, SATAN. He's an accuser of the brethren. He wants me to doubt my faith so that I will waiver like, "o well, I'm gay, so what's the point of serving God."
He's a liar and so are his lil demons.
