LV...

you really havent heard much with underground rock, have you?.. Just over the weekend, A few local bands were playing.. and yea, the content was harsh....

another example:
theres a track on NERD's album 'attack of the clones'.. called fuck and spend

^and thats good for kids?

i dont know bout what they play in texas.. but here on the radio... the content revolves heavily around jewlry and women... and yea, you do have those that do, rap about the struggles of the hood, violence..drugs..gangs.... but can you blame them? They have reason to say what they say...THEY BEEN THERE... its all about credibilty... as well as image..
and you cant just blame the artists.. cuz kids look up to the local drug dealers too.. i've lived there... i know a thing or two
whereas, these harsh ass rock artists.. are promoting a fucking problem...

and as for that role model... stuff.. man, thats just giving parents reason not to do their damn job...

and Rock Artists are REALLY good role models?

hmmm, lets look at exhibit A: ACTUAL QUOTE..

"My favorite band are nirvana partly because of there drug abuse content but they also wrote kick ass songs which make me feel instingtive and persuaded to do more things with my life like learning a instrument or joining a band. "

and there are Rap artists that ARE positive
