but slick rick change the game with the story telling aspect
after rakim he is the most influentual mc as far as lyrics go
if it wernt for slick rick alot of rapper wouldnt have there styles

and there are varouis others such as biggie and tupac who would tell stories
im not here to knock rakim im just sayin slick rick influence was just as much as rakim( rakim probably more ) but i think slick rick deserves his props
