You can get degrees in philosophy and philology yet logically
Yet never see through the hypocrisy, that if you lack sympathy
No matter how much empathy you have, you can never got grab
Clamp, take hold of, or grasp or begin to comprehend real plight
You’ll never truly understand another’s struggle or fight
You could be coldly logical, and miss every iatrical part
That sets part the tangible, from moral illusions
You see morals are like fingerprints no matter how ignorant
Everyone has some, and they’re all different, yet insignificant
Never need em to determine one indistinguishable individual
From the next, hell you don’t even need origin, race, or sex
Beliefs, lie beneath every surface, their your blockade
Your reason to raid, the reason you want to get paid
Reason you want to get laid, reason for nearly anything you do
It’s true, and most beliefs are conjured up with one goal in mind
To find happiness, to define happiness, is simple
A state of bliss, but what brings happiness?

It’s different for each person, but knowledge is always the key
You see it’s either do to lack of, the thirst for more, or being sure
Those with knowledge generally horde it for themselves
They want to be Santa and keep the ignorant working elves
The not completely oblivious set goals, search for answers to the untold
They know better than to simply accept, almost too well
The paranoid plain in which they dwell, has intangible walls
Though they’re fake they can not break, even with the truth in their face
You see they’ve been blinded; they search for the truth but will never find it
And the very few that do, either become corrupt or try to share it
Forgetting the meek sheep they left behind can not bare it
So they become social lunatics, misguided missiles, criminals
Of the state, no make that humanity, yet sadly it’s just reality
The search for truth is a fallacy that logically can only end in misery
Present day and historically, religiously if your catholic you have to believe
Total knowledge is not meant for mankind as discussed in Adam & Eve
