^^that's the part I was hoping people wouldn't over-react to, but it's definitely not "good news" that's for sure.

the bad news is, unless they're looking for an artist like your self, you stand little ot no chance ot get heard by someone in the (mainstream) business without going through an outlet like an A/R or publisher.

that's the only way they'll know you're serious anyway. anyone can put songs on a CD and mail it.

individual artists don't even take CD's anymore, nor do A/R's in person, publicists etc. been that way for a while. I can send you some interviews with industry heads where they discuss it if you want. it's a steam and it's 48m long. well worththe listen if you actuayl give a shit about the business side of the Music BUSINESS.
