Escaping Lucifer, through the stories of slumber
Yes Judas dreams, but not of reapers or shreeking thunder
but of beauty, rivers flowing of gold and sparkling pearl
Hills of honey, and a sun that never submits to the darker world
Angels at flight, children at play in a field of amber colored grain
Clouds thick with sugar, and custer flavored rain
Grass that never wilts and Trees that never fall
A place where betrayal is forgiven, and the forgiven stand tall
Where evil isn't missed, and relived through past and myth
Where evil shall not surface, cause evil does not exist

Hell is a realty, but dreams are a means of freedom
A path to an unjustified misuse of truth is treason
What choice does a demon have, what wrong can come from it
Already banished to the belly of purgatory, when spirit began to plumit
To the depths of a twisted fait, chosen by the christ himself
but that man only lies in the pits of his sleep, were punishment isnt delt
His anger hidden, pride not shown, his demise written for all to know

For Judas and all like him, in the subliminal is where heaven is felt
Heaven is a dream, the pearl gates open as the eyes close
Only for those, who dwell in the underworld I suppose
So as darkness falls the light begins to rize
In the mind of he who blames christ as the reason he was victimized
But will find Hope for his repent, in the deepest parts of the soul
As his heart grows bold, and the end comes near, as the world turns old
Still he will suffer in shame for eternity as his sin's have shown
And judas everyday, shall wake, back to fire and grimstone
