reality is, countries have neuclear weapons for a great reason. ICBM's also makes any counter to a neuclear attack a whole different story than "pushing a button". Not to mention nuclear arms can be dropped from a plane exactly like they've always been throughout history - hiroshima sound familliar? They didn't think they'd get bombed either.
News flash: the world you live in is very fragile and nothings guaranteed to anybody. stop dreaming.

I agree, no point in worrying. But there's a HUGE point to being aware. "being able to do something" is all about timing isn't it?
and someone makes the first move they'll be attacked? by who? If the US is backed by the US alone, who else is gonna do what kind of attacking twice as hard when you have a league of nations backing your enemy? Even N.Korea is saying they'd make a pre-emptive attack, just like they said when Bush first tried to roll up on N Korea liek he rolled up on Iran.
Three steps to neuclear war. 2 of the 3 are already complete:
1: Bush (already the asshole of the world) presses into the Iran situation exactly like they're already doing.
2: The nations that already back Iran like Russia say "US, you can kiss our ass, Iran did nothing, just like Iraq, and you're not going to fuck shit up here like you did there. Besides, we got money in this"
3: Bush pushes the issue and claims a "preemptive strike" for lack of cooperation, EXACTLY like in Iraq and sends forces over to attempt to take the weapons - of course they'll be met with massive resistance to say the least.

Iran isn't going to back down, Palestine isn't going to back down, Russia sure as hell ain't gonna back down, now your leagues of enemies are now a common ally - Osama's boys do their worst and N. Korea isn't gonna sit back and relax seeing that Kim Jong Ill already cant stand Bush and is LOOKIN for a reason, which is why Bush backed waaaayyy off N. Korea in the first place.
And now China isn't looking like they'll side with us - that's a major tactical loss. and WOULD fulfiill a prophecy IF they end up deciding not to.
