That's not neccessarily true. Some brands of wine from the northern parts of France actually use real veal and beef in their wines. They squash the beef and use the juices to make up a small portion of the wine, making it perfect for a steak dinner or other delicacies. It's kinda like squeezing an orange. Ps. Fuck you if you doubt me.
