One of the best tips I can give you is to sell yourself. Now is not the time to be passive, or agressive. Be assertive when listing your qualifications. Also, don't be afraid to embellish through wording.

Example: In stead of saying, you know how to use Microsoft Office, say, "Proficient in Microsoft Office"...etc.
