I agree with them. When you go to Japan, you speak Japanese. English is part of who we are as a nation. I think it's disrespectful to the anthem to sing it in any language other than English.

heh, you know what' REALLY funny? Not only did Bush
sing the American Anthem in spanish HIMSELF on the 1999 campaign trail, but Bush requested that the Star Spangled Banner be
sung by John Secada in Spanish at his 2001 inauguration ceremony!! He even hand selected the latino Ricky Martin to sing "The Cup of Life" at his inauguration.
ironic that Bush now blasphemizes anyone singing the anthem in spanish isn't it?
