Absolutely...And, I discovered something shocking about myself the other day...even I have prejudices ingrained in my head! I couldn't believe it.
Comcast technicians had to come out twice last week. The first guy who came out was white. While he was working on my computer, I went off and did my own thing elsewhere. Then, two black guys came out the second time. I felt the need to sit and watch them. Then, when I thought about what I did, I couldn't believe it man. I was prejudiced against my own damn people. WTF...That white guy could just as easily have robbed me as the black one. It's a shame too because I've experienced that type of discrimination. It goes to show that society's influences are more far reaching and deep-seated than you'd think.
