Sadly my friend, to a radio station, your stats your pictures, what ever projects and preformances you have out etc are all but irrelevant. the only thing a station is interested in is listens or "ratings". There is a high strategy that goes into making it on the radio, as well as into a label hands, or to any other point in the music industry. truth be told there really isn't much "luck" involved. The "luck" is in getting someone that's important to your cause to make the time to listen to your music. If you got selected....it's not because of luck.

believe me.

if you don't, it doesn't mean you don't have skills. The person listening could love your music and just can't do anything with it. You're just not what they're looking for. And this applies to any mainstream music outlet, be it a label, a station, a venue, anything.
