....You know, how cats were about keeping it real and supporting the up-comming bohemian culture that is hip hop? Before the industry made a gigantic boom and became a commercialised commodity full of deceit and misconceptions perpectuated by huge corperations who sign pay off cheques left right and center to everyone to get what they want and fatten their pockets while the real artists out there starve? Before hip hop was just another form of pop music thrown out to the masses who actually buy into all the compleatly fabricated lies about rappers living lifestyles full of mass bitches, money, chains, rims, busting gats and selling crack?

Hip hop culture in countries such as the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc are still about that real shit... A lot of our best and most recognised artists dont just support their careers using payola to boost their plays on the radio.. Our artsts dont get anally raped by big time corperations who keep them in debt.. Most of our major hip hop record labels are independant businesses run by REAL hip hop heads who do it all for the love of the hip hop culture...

Some of you americans are so narrow minded that you have lost sight of what is the real goal behind the music you make.. Your entire industry is not built on skill or love for the culture, its built on money and lies..........Nothing more, nothing less.

You idolise rappers who have sub-par skill simply because they can push out a load of crap in a very small amount of time to feed your increasingly shrinking 'media-controlled' interlects so you can go stupid over some idiot saying the same stuff, over the same style of beats as every other idiot following a set formula put forward by record companies..........And the best thing is... Your being duped and you dont even realise it.. The cloathes you buy, the way you talk, what dictates the way you act, the general mindframe of your people is all just trends set by the very people who are cashing in on your own stupidity...

I love it how there are loads of rappers in the states who are smarter than that and still do push that real message and spend time making quality music pushing the truth to their listeners.. I respect them.

But those are the very artists that are classified as 'underground' and have majors paying everyone off to make sure they dont get talked about or given jack shit air time...

So go ahead man.. Keep thinking everywhere else in the world is just full of 'lesser people' who obviously just arnt as educated on hip hop as you are.

Cause man.. We think your a fucking joke...

and you said all that to say what?
hip-hop in America isn't real? UK hip-hop is better than American Hip-hop? .. never.

No one pays attention to rappers in the UK.

I'd rather listen to Lil Jon scream all over the fucking track all day than listen to some UK idiot with a accent rapping about some shit I have no intrest in. Sub-par skill, like who? Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy? I listen to rappers like that because they have been through the struggle, they rap about shit I can relate too. They live the hip-hop/rap life. How can rappers in the UK rap about real shit when they don't even know what real shit is? A UK rapper would never be able to come to America and even go gold or platinum, why? because to us that shit is phony. No one wants to hear a england rapper over here, rapping about what? nothing. Just putting words together and making them rhyme. haha, but certainly rappers like Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Nas can go to your country and go platinum in a week. You're forgetting that there's a lifestyle to rap and hip-hop, and most the rappers over here live it. You're also forgetting that's theres a difference between Hip-hop and rap.
