No one pays attention to rappers in the UK.
I'd rather listen to Lil Jon scream all over the fucking track all day than listen to some UK idiot with a accent rapping about some shit I have no intrest in. Sub-par skill, like who? Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy? I listen to rappers like that because they have been through the struggle, they rap about shit I can relate too. They live the hip-hop/rap life. How can rappers in the UK rap about real shit when they don't even know what real shit is? A UK rapper would never be able to come to America and even go gold or platinum, why? because to us that shit is phony. No one wants to hear a england rapper over here, rapping about what? nothing. Just putting words together and making them rhyme. haha, but certainly rappers like Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Nas can go to your country and go platinum in a week. You're forgetting that there's a lifestyle to rap and hip-hop, and most the rappers over here live it. You're also forgetting that's theres a difference between Hip-hop and rap.

The problem is that to most Americans, the world ends where the American border ends. The USA is a completely self-centered country.
Nobody in America pays attention to UK artists, not nobody. Millions of residents of the UK pay attention to music that their country produces. Sorry, but entire populations dont just dissapear because of your musical preferences.
What is the hip-hop/rap life? According to you, it must be 50% a life of crime and poverty, and 50% a life of spoilt, rich arrogance, wasteful purchases, glamour, fashion, jewellery, huge mansions and poor english skills.
Sounds pretty shit to me.
I have more to say, but actually I think i'll stop now... I can just see the reply... "But have you even HEARD young jeezy? Lil jon has lived the life. Lil wayne is the realest." and so on and so forth.
