Well the music industry is fucked as a whole over here. Put thousands or millions of dollars on the table in front of most people and they'll do whatever to take it, even though most purists like you and me wouldn't. As far as I can tell, the UK isn't filled with that type of shit where fads catch on every couple of years when record execs want to give a new group a gimmick, right? So I really don't think it's the hip hop being fucked up over here, just the music industry especially for rap/hip hop. I don't see how that makes the UK hip hop better, like I said, probably more pure, but not better. *shrugs* |
