Are you really of the opinion that Jesus was an aspect of the very deity that created the universe? You do realise it wasnt till 300 years after when the roman empire proclaimed Jesus as being god that your religion all of a sudden decided their prophet was the one and only time that god has appeared on earth in the form of a human being (yeah right), how would they know? Remembering these are the same people who have been proved wrong countless times such as when they proclaimed the earth was flat and anyone who said different was a heretic.. Or when they decided hell was just below the ground and heaven was just above the clouds, the stars are just an overlaid flat image ontop of the atmosphere.. When they burnt all knowledge that didnt co-inside with their ancient jewish texts and let nobody else read them except for their priests..
I mean fuck dude.... How can you even begin to think its right to back these guys? You cant even prove that Jesus died for our sins... For all you know, the crucifixion could have very well been punishment handed down by god himself for sins commited by you know who...
Your stories seem real fishy to me like your all just being brainwashed and controlled into thinking these things are just how it is.. And why? Because some priests told you?
It really does interest me as to why you guys are all so certain that your on the right team... Is it a matter of just.......picking one school of thought and sticking with it? Or do you believe youve had some sort of spiritual experience and know so vividly that christianity is the right religion (keeping in mind in the 1600's people also KNEW SO VIVIDLY in their own minds that world communism was an inevidible path of progression and any other form of government just wouldnt work)..
I've made threads like this before, but it really annoys me how I can never actually get ONE straight answer from you people...Christians seem to just see this type of logical analysis and blabber on either about some scripture in the bible or try to tell me their life storys, but NEVER, and I mean NEVER have I ever gotton one answer from you guys as to WHY you actually think your backing the right team answered properly and logically. You either crap on like theres no tomorrow or choose some tiny part of the post and attack it as though it was the only thing said...
How about this time you actually say something in the way of informing me, clearly as to why you think christianity is the one true religion.. As to why you believe so literally that Jesus is god.. And if you arnt a moron and do believe jesus was a man, why do you pray to him over god?

Jesus being prayed to and "idolized" is done in the thought of Jesus being part of God as a whole, you answered that yourself. In answering how do we know they're right, we don't, but how do YOU know there was? The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence but the addition of evidence is not the proclimation of truth. What we believe and have faith in is just like what you believe and have faith in, where's the logical proof that what you believe is the absolute truth?

I'm making the right choices.) As for knowing that I'm with the right "team", I don't know shit, I believe and have faith that I am, that's all. When I pray and have faith and try to be a good Christian things go better for me than not. There have been too many times when I've been down and out just to be saved by something I can't explain and refuse to discern as luck or coincidence. Stop thinking everything can be conceived by logic, there is something inside that moves me to believe that Christianity is right, even if the leaders of it may be quacks. Just because you're hungry doesn't mean you need to sit down and ask yourself, "Logically, why do I have the urge to eat food?", you just do, and if you're wrong for it, that's on you and nobody else.
