You do make some good points in this paragraph, and you also backed my argument in recognising the fact that you literally dont know if what you believe is right or not. This leads me to believe that you have basically just picked a religion and decided to stick with it, be it your choice, or just what you fell into from childhood. Which is fine, there are plenty of people in the world who can benefit from the idea that religious groups have it all worked out, but ofcourse, when push comes to shove; their really just taking a stab in the dark and hoping it works out for them.

In my eyes, there is absolutly no proof jesus has anything to do with god. Its natural for his followers to come to this conclusion because he was obviously an amazingly talented philosopher and public speaker whom they loved unconditionally and wanted nothing more than to glorify his legacy. But throughout time, there have been countless people of exactly the same caliber of intelligence as Yeshua Bin Yosef possessed 2000 years ago. Are they all avatar's of god? The only difference between them and Jesus is the Christian church itself refuses to recognise them as an aspect of god. And on a logical basis, there is absolutly nothing further than word of mouth to say the christian church is the sole authority on this subject. So logically, there is no reason to believe them.

And to be honest with you.. Its kind of even beyond plausability due to the church's tattered and dirty history when it comes to informing people what to believe and what not to. They have been proved wrong so many times, its kind of like saying "hey, as long as we stick to our guns, maybe one day well get something right"...

You can say logic is not ultimate... But I can safly say, nothing that I believe in this life hasnt been compleatly tested under tight conditions. Anything that isnt fully backed up with solid evidence, I classify as a 'theory'. And you do realise, that if god ever did come to earth in a solid viewable form, only people like me will be happy.. Because in a world with so many different views and belief's based on nothing more than 'faith' in what a church has told you.... The truth will never be able to keep everyone happy.

Yes, unexplainable things happen in this universe all the time. But when you attribute them to 'christianity'... Thats called a baseless assumption...

As for that 'thing inside you that moves you to believe christianity is right'

I wasnt joking either... I've seen a lot of documentrys on communism through these periods.. There have been countless failed experements from countless visionarys that believed in themselves so faithfully that their communist communitys would be somewhat of a utopia.. None of which succeeded. And all their followers always either lost faith and moved, or died trying to protect their vision.

Everyone is taking a stab in the dark with anything they have faith in, that's what I said already. I didn't originally choose Christianity, I was born into it, and the doctrines and lessons I have learned through it lead me to believe that it is a true religion. I'm not a classic Christian though, and you know that. Whether it is a huge religion like Christianity or whatever you or anyone else believes, it's ALL just a shot in the dark, we're dealing with something nobody has absolute proof of so whatever experiences lead you to whatever choice you make is what forms your opinions.

About Jesus, there isn't proof, but there isn't proof of most things that we can fully test if you think about it. For all we know we're a television show for the universe created by some aliens and shit (a la a certain South Park episode) and EVERYTHING we've been taught is complete bullshit. Someone believing that Jesus was a part of God is the same as someone believing gravity will always work, there is no proof that gravity will ALWAYS work, there's just reason to believe that it will, just like there's no proof Jesus was part of God, there is reason to believe he is. How credible the reasons may seem is all a question of perspective and what you actually have knowledge of.

As for what I bolded...

What you call a baseless assumption I call faith in my experience. Like I said, it's all a matter of perspective. You live in a world where everything must be proven to you and I don't, who says either of us is right? It's like you meeting the girl of your dreams and her saying she loves you but you not believing it until she gives her life for you. If everything must be proven to you for you to believe it, you're going to miss a lot.

And then the communism thing...

People have believed a lot of things throughout history and some were right and some were wrong. Pointing out one that was wrong doesn't mean that anything being believed is ludicrous and wrong, because I could point out those who thought the Earth revolved around the sun, were THEY wrong?

That's all.
