1st off, this is the i-net. So, people can be bigots without fear of reproach. Bro, bigotry due to sexual orientation is wrong in the real world, and legally could get someone in trouble. In that sense, it's not different from racism. No one would tolerate someone using the word nigger on this site, but they do the word 'faggot' due to their own insecurities/biases/and hatred.
If we cut off the internet, and you went on your JOB, and called someone who's a co-worker a "faggot", knowing they were homosexual, you wouldn't be working there for much longer and could face a lawsuit.
