when nearly every rapper has talked about guns and cash then what do you really expect the rest of the world is gonna think about hiphop, and why does it matter? why does it matter if BillyJoeRichassBob made a radio hit single for KIIS FM about certain parts of his automobile and basic human temptations? thats his deal under his own name and he'll be known for it personally. thats why its up to every artist to set their own style and voice. if you can't do that much for yourself then hating on a bigger voice would be mindless and inconsiderate. its their life and success shouldn't have a penalty. theres enough cd's out there for everybody to make an album and take a shot at consulting the planet of god-knows-what and chances are, somebody will stumble across yours. dont forget that hiphop is entertainment also and not just "a message." if you don't like a poorly compiled teenage banga track then thats your deal. although somebody out there prolly has it on their ipod and noddin to it daily and it makes them feel good. thats what the whole movement is about - to somehow carve a path leading as close to paradise and happiness as possible. evolution holds its own and we don't need anymore war starters to go around bein a music nazi. music is a great thing so dont try to put guidelines on it. gotta be a "true artist" just to spit a rhyme...wtf you smokin
