I understand your point of view. And, many people hold your argument. But, consider this.
Paul clearly states in the book of Galatians that salvation is intended for the Jew first, and then the Gentile. And, in Romans chapters 10-13, Paul talks about how God is still calling for the Jews to basically stand up and be his people. Why? Because he still has that covenant with them. We as non-Jews are now God's people through Jesus Christ. In a way, God allowed this to make the Jews jealous because they rejected Christ. However, the fact of the matter is, the Jews are still the people God made a pact with. And, that pact was to be their God forever. He will honor his word man.

^^The rest will either accept Christ or don't. Remember that alot of Jews who accept Jesus still consider themselves Jews.
