Being a dad is great, sucks, tiring, inspirational, humbling, tiring, loving, happy, heartbreaking, proud, tiring, nerve racking, teaching, scolding, rewarding, hair pulling, tiring, laughable, enjoyable, endless, protecting, did I mention tiring?

But really, there is no other feeling like it. And there is no feeling at the same time. When my kids were born I felt no different. I did all the same stuff I did the day before. I thought it would be an instant change, but it was far from it. Just try to imagine how much your parents must have felt for you to put up with all your shit and not kill you or send you off to be raised by wolves........that's the love for a child
