neway...What I'm saying isn't speaking on not caring what other people think. That's the main problem, people care so much about what other people "think" they neglect their own views. The fact of the matter is this: Most people are mindless drones, doing whatever is clever at the moment. It takes courage and strength to stand up and say, "I'm going to be myself, even if it means being alienated from most others." When the grain is going east, you go west, not for the sake of being different, but because that's where you heart takes you. I venture to say that most people would go east with the grain simply out of fear of reproach.
Society dictates to us what's "in" or not. And, seeing people follow fads, regadless of how ridiculous it is, is sickening.
To me, most people:
A)Think the same
B) Speak the same
C) Act the same
D) Look the same
It's almost a sin to not be yourself because it denies the universe that special element that's unique to "you".
