mic i read your first post and laughed.

first of all, i get radio play on american underground stations, ive been to american to check out the actual scene in some cities n shit, so dont like i dont know what im talking about.

ive done my homework on how to work the business side of things and i know if i push myself properly and promote everything effectively i could make a decent living off music.

hip hop isnt what you are telling us to stop hating, hip hop is a lifestyle, its graffiti, break dancing, beatboxing, DJ'n, MC'n.... and most of america these days do not realise that at all, and most americans fail to realise the history of hip hop and it offends me how many americans dont even know who the founder of hip hop was.

the UK scene is raw, and gets so much love from the greats of hip hop because it is exactly what hip hop started out as in america.... kool herc, mos def, krsone, and so many more have come and performed in the UK at deal real, and then come back just to relax and take part as a FAN, without any form of bodyguard e.t.c, they love it here and say the american scene has been ruined by corporations and rappers being blinded by dollar signs.

its not that i hate the mainstream, but the mainstream isnt real, i like a few mainstream heads but the majority of them are generic and bore the living shit out of me with their fake talk n synth beats.

why do people think underground is depressing music???? dilated peoples are depressing??? mos def is depressing??? krs one is depressing???? roots are depressing??? come on now, stop being so pedantic.
