I dont really have a 'stance' on this so to speak.
Obviously these sort of test results for phychodelic drugs have never been fully taken and this was a method in which to gain knowledge of the sorts of things that could be achieved through prolonged use.
Its like when I watched a video of a guy float up outside the earth's atmosphere on a balloon in a pressure suit untill he could see the earth as a sphere before he took a lunge and free fell for 11 minutes before parachuting to the ground.
Nobody had done it before, it needed to be explored.
While I feel sorry for those involved because these studies have obviously ruined lives. I'm not a person who holds amazingly high morals or compassion for a vast amount of human life. Therefore the potential scientific data available from these studies interests me more than the victems it created.
Even if we as a species learnt nothing useful, it is simply another thing to cross off our lists as having done.
