The American Dream [ part I & II ]

Freedom,
I've heard that it's mine,
but i've seen no such thing.
I've seen films and read books
that speak of the American Dream,
but it's just that - a dream.
If it weren't perhaps we'd have freedom.
...perhaps
perhaps we'd have equality,
but they'd still be more equal than us
in this dream of theres.
They tell us the dream is ours - the people.
But i've had no such dream.
Some may dream such dreams - but not I.

from the proud kings of old
to the kings who now hide face
ashamed to announce tyranny
afraid of revolution, and mutiny amongst
- amongst a nation of malitia
waiting in shadows for a spark
a single ember to ignite a nation
- a nation not under god..
but indivisible in its liberties
the right to bare arms
the right to speak out
the right to a quick and speedy trial
but they will receive no such trial so long
as i am here to over see the revolution...
the spark.
the single light that will guide a nation.
one nation.
our nation.
