yeh.

there is definitly no garentees with Existentialism, but there is no garentee's in life.
I dont doubt your point of view on topics like this, hence the reason why i wanted to know why your brushed Existentialism off so easily.
But I feel basing your life on raw "facts" could lead to a less learned life, seen as facts a very rear on earth these days, not to mention the source of facts are allways scetchy.
I slightly felt some contridiction in your post, saying you belive in god yet you live life by what is fact.
Fact to one person these days may not be fact to the next, I also belive in a form of god, I am yet to figure what he or she really is or isnt. But there is no raw facts to back the argument on god, its all personal point of view.
This is what Existentialism looks at, individual point of view and it leaves things open for the person studying, to take his or her previous philisophical knowledge and accumulate there own assumtion/facts on whatever topic they are trying to fullfill.
I say fact/assumtion, cause these days they can easily co-exist hand in hand.
