Reston isn't far from Herndon, right? Well, that area is only 40 minutes or so from most places in PG county, I believe.


As far as PG is concerned, it's a wide variety of neighborhoods man. PG has areas that are low income (Suitland) to rich were famous people lived (Accokeek)/Ft. Washington area.

The balance is good for people of all income levels. The schools, technically speaking, are "better" in Montgomery County. However, PG County has all the resources in the world. Your kids will get a good education whereever they go in PG.

PG County Neighborhoods are good for the most part. Some areas, like Suitland/Oxon Hill/Temple Hills are high crime areas--car theft, robberies. However, most other places are fairly quaint.


Driving? HAHAHAH...D.C. traffic is some of the worst in the nation. It's very conjested. But, you have access to everything to get you there.
