I.G., beat choice does matter because it's not a face to face freestyle battle. It's a battle over the internet that's written and recorded and mixed etc. If someone uses 21 Questions or some shit to battle, their lyrics better be off the fucking wall. On the net it's how it sounds, in the streets it's how dope the rappers are. I've seen people not even diss their opponent and win because the other dude just straight out sucked. Different planes call for different criteria, whether we like it or not.

yo, logic...lol... you can't have ya cake and eat it too... first you say it's two different planes... then you come up with that last comment...lol... you're contradicting yaself and you don't even realize it...different planes call for different rules... everyone ain't gon be happy but at least it'll be fair... personally, i can't see a dude voting and giving all the categories to one dude and then turn around and say... "but i liked the other dude better"... that's backwards as all hell... "well emceeA was better in 5 of 6 categories... but omma give it to emcee B cuz i liked him better overall..." you see how that sounds... it don't add up
