Nah...You got it wrong...Israel isn't "good"...Israel is the nation of God...
God is Israel's father...And, any father protects his own.
And, if you supported someone whose father was protective, you'd be rewarded for helping them.
Make no mistake. God is still watching over Israel. And, God is real.
