Boasting? Yes, I am boasting in God. I'm boasting because it's fun seeing God live up to what he says. Giving is fun. Receiving is fun. What's even more fun is knowing that God means what he says because I'm seeing it first hand. Doors are opening to me that just weren't open before. That's my faith. If a person knows to tithe but doesn't, that's the equivalent of robbing God.

Oh ok. Just asking, because a lot of the churches near me spend the money on like, a new stain glass window or a piano or some crap, instead of things that are worthwhile.
All I was saying in that second bit is you should give without expecting anything in return. If the only reason you are giving is to receive those blessings or to be able to boast about god, then it just doesnt seem right. |
