1. People think or say god accepts people who have sinned and have truly turned their life around for the better for instance someone who murdered or robbed etc. and they completely turned around and they have a chance of getting into heaven, now my question is...where is the line drawn? how many murders before god says no you're unchangeable, how much time does it take for someone to be 'changed'? this type of shit pisses me off because i know people dont have the answer to it but its like wtf? can i rob this and be forgiven? they say no but then its like, but he did it and he was forgiven, the fuck is up with that shit?, and if god didnt forgive ANYBODY of sin, then there would be like 400 people up there...and all of them babies who died close to birth that havent had the chance to sin yet, cuz EVERYONE has sinned sooner or later
Belief, itself, is an extremily subjective concept... Throughout the entire anthropic period different belief systems have come into existance and faded accordingly. What you have to realise is we now live in a time that is compleatly alien to the time when the religions humans practice were created, back then societys on all levels were far harder to police, so the most direct answer to this problem was by installing laws into religion such as the 10 commandments.. Dont kill, dont steal, these things humans call 'sin' is more or less just a word denoting what religious people have deemed to be 'wrong' and subsiquently listed as rules for their followers in order to gain entrance to this other theoretical thing they call 'heaven'. If someone has disobeyed these rules, there is no direct evidence to logically state that the person in question has 'made god mad' or is 'requiring forgiveness'. Because nobody who lives now or has ever lived in the past can ever truly comphrehend in the slightest the way in which god's 'mind' operates. What we call sin may be compleatly irrelevant in the eyes of god, especially seeing as these same religions often believe everything that has ever happened and ever will happen is already planned and slowly unraveling before our eyes. Therefore all sin we as humans take part in, according to religion, must ofcourse have been planned by god himself. Furthermore, creating a situation where sin can never truly exist, only events carried out by individuals involved according to gods plan meaning we are only ever doing what 'he' wants us to. Does that sound 'sinful' at all to you?
I think at the end of the day, forgiveness is only a belief. And somewhat of a flawed one at that, but for those who choose to stay trapped in the realm of old religious dogma's and superstitions, I guess it cant hurt anyone for this, and other related belief's to remain in existance. I know this hasnt properly answered your question, but thats because your question literally has no answer, people can only speculate..
2. If there was no god and no heaven and there was nothing after we died idk about yall, but i woulda BEEN done mad shit robbed everything i needed to do to make my life better by any means necessary and the only thing stoppin me from that is 'hopes into getting into heaven' type shit, and then i see it like, fear of punishment after death is the same thing as hope for reward, as if heaven and hell were the same thing and we're all brainwashed into thinking religion is real by some guys who made it up a long time ago to control people like me
Obviously there is either a god or there isnt. If you choose in your life not to believe in him or follow him, you will, upon death, either cease to exist, therefore proving you right (not that youd ever have the satisfaction of realising this as you would ......no longer be) or you will come face to face with god and realise what a pompus ass youve made of yourself. On a sheer probability factor, your better off to believe in god than to disreguard him. So I wouldnt even sweat it.
3. What if i went to heaven and i wanted to watch scarface or play san andreas, would i not be allowed to just because it has sinful images in it? same thing with music...or would god be dope and know its not real so we can do w/e the fuck we want
I think if you were in a place reletive to the human concept of 'heaven', watching scarface and playing san andreas would not even be remotly interesting to you. These things are worldly diversions, when we leave this form of existance, we dont come back. Most likly we leave all our material wants and needs behind and enter a compleatly new state. But hey, who knows.. Maybe god has a playstation set up there...........I dont think killing pixelated characters on a computer screen constitutes as breaking any fundemental religious laws.
4. ^With #3 in mind about playing san andreas or watching scarface, now i hear when you get into heaven you FORGET your fucking past!?, yea nomore pain but WTF @ forgetting your past? thats fuckin bullshit, i dont wanna sit around and sing songs and hug people and smell flowers and all that bullshit, i wanna play violent video games and listen to w/e music i want or do w/e i want, they say you can get anything you want, that leaves 'everything' to a very limited amount of objects since so much shit is reguarded as a sin, that whole forgetting your past shit makes me not want to go to heaven at all, heaven seems like the most boring and stupid place anybody could ever go to.
You literally have no knowledge of heaven bro..
How can you call it shit and boring?
I've answered this question in question 1's response anyway. Belief is subjective to who you choose to follow. And all religion is basically just taking a stab in the dark anyway.. Nobody actually knows what happens after death.
and fuck reincarnation, i dont wanna turn into a fucking chair or refrigerator when i die
A chair and a refrigerator are inanimate objects that have no life and are manufactured by peicing together different parts.. You wont come back as a chair or refrigerator man. Logically thats impossible.
oh yea, and to people who say life is just a test and shit...why the fuck would the 'almighty and loving' god put people through so much pain just to laugh at the devil and say "see, they picked me, i win, now give me my 10 bucks"
I believe all hardships were put through occur because theres a fundemental lesson we need to learn at that point in our lives. I'd be more inclined to say lifes a learning experience than a test.
