Also, I wouldn't say that Kwaito is South African rap for two reasons. 1) South African rap suggests that its strictly bound in south africa while Kwaito has spread from South Africa to Botswana, Zimbabwe, etc. 2) It has rap elements, but it differs sufficiently from rap to be its own music genre, its not like garage.
