Roses are Red

Before you read this short four lined poem, I want you to read this long and thought out explanation.

This poem is open to interpretation, and I would gladly recieve any such interpretations of it that you have. Every detail has been carefully thought out. (I've written this over and over about three or four times now trying to get it right.) Everything serves as a meaning, from the word choice, to the formating as well as the words themselves.

But when you read it, I want you to read it like you would rea the bible (Or any sacred text of your choosing). By this I mean, read it slowly, read it thoughtfully and read it not just with your eyes and your mind, but open your heart to it. Let the words truly sink deep within your inner body and inner soul and just dwell on it momentarilly before you capture your own thoughts into words. I'm starting to sound touchy-feely emotional. I think I'll just drop the shit and blow now...

The rose is red as well, red with blood
