It is you yourself that preaches the idea of time being merely a human concept attempting to create order among chaos.
Why should the distance between the time you did this thing, and the time you used its reference come into play in your mind?
As for something you havnt mentioned.. Your obviously thinking about those instances that you 'could' use.. Doesnt that mean they too...........have a point?
