Tourneys just take a lotta patience. The other day, I was in this 30 person tournament. For the first hour, I had absolutely terrible cards. I think I called like 2 hands in the first hour. Folded everything else. However, I won 1/2 and hence, was up about 1000 chips. More than half the people were gone after the first hour as they all just knocked each other out, I didn't have to do any work. Then the 2nd hour I got some cards and cleaned up everyone and won.

Just wait for cards to come to u, more often than not if you wait long enough they will.
