the way your fastrack should be set up is as your primary audio device, so make sure it's set to the default input in your program (prolly fooledit) instead of your preamp.
by this you mean like if I go to sound control and properties and look @ record and playback, you mean the fast track needs to be set to the primary "mixer device"? cuz if so, it is

and monitor through the computer and not the fast track, you need to hear what the final sound output is not jsut what the fast track hears.
hmm, yea that's what I been doing. but like I see the noise bar, like ONLY the bottom one move up, then top one like staying put. And annoyibg beep sound plays

oh yeah, make sure you didn't get a 1/4" guitar plug as your input and your input to the fast track is XLR or else you won't hear jack shiddit.
yea, well unless the dude I talked to over phone wanted to screw me over, I got write wire. Dude talked to me via phone, I called him left voice mail, so dude will call tommorow. He works at place where I got fast track. So I told him my mic type, my pre-amp type, and he told me exactly what I NEEDED, so I'll prolly just run it thru him to see what he says too. But i'm sure everything is the right shit I need.
