I spent a week collecting carts at a farmer's market once. It was right after high school and in the middle of summer. Wow, did it suck. Totally not worth the $8 an hour doing that all day. Nowadays, I see at walmart, they have these motorized things that pushes the row of carts from the back while the guy directs the carts at the front.
