Let me address those concerns:
#1..Giving money with the HOPE of getting back isn't defeating the purpose. Rather, it's an assurance that the PRINCIPLE of sowing and reaping is tangible.
#2...God isn't going to send anyone to hell for not tithing. I'm saying that if you want to be blessed, you have to bless others. No one who's selfish and hoards their money will have that money for long. Everything belongs to God. And, God wants us to give. Remember the scripture: "Give, and it shall be given unto you."
#3...When you pay your tithes and give your offerings, don't worry about if the priest or pastor is abusing it. You'll still be blessed of God while God will deal with that dishonest person. Things don't happen in our time. Remember, "[God's] ways are not our ways."
#4...Giving is a universal principle. So, this notion of tithing and giving alms applies to anyone who practices it, Christian or not. The fact is, the more you get, the more you should give. And, consequently, the more you'll get...It's perpetual.
