because its a small segment of a market which means it will cost more

if its healthy food its not got chemicals sprayed on it to make them grow bigger, quicker etc so they cannot produce as much for such a small price, simply if its healthy its grown in a healthy mannor so they cannnot produce as much. it costs them more to produce those costs are carried on to u the consumer
