It's not dark yet
IP:
Even Bob Dylan admitted to seeing the dark/ so I noticed he gave it up when it started falling apart/ cus by then he was too grown up to adapt or lark/ but I feel for him an take his words to heart/ the fire in my soul is ignited with a poet’s spark/ these words are my life they’re not just a major part/ an the subtle voices suggest a resemblance to Joan of arc/ while she burn tied to a stake I'm tied to being smart/ or trying to excel I'm even trying to ascend to heaven or at least stay outta hell/ my morals are bending with each ring of the bell/ most don’t realize someone is always attacking an we’re always defending but this is natural so we can’t tell/ an we sit in circles to relate the hardships we’ve befell/ the rich of the world is who’s fashionable an thus the status quo is base on a coolness scale/ only to wonder what level we rank as the names are called an we pray to God that we don’t fail/ the world wasn't dark when Dylan could tell/ so he said it wasnt but he's not here to write how the darkness fell//
