I just don't find much appeal to the music on the radio, regardless of the reigon. But I'm not completely against it just because it's mainstream - the last single I was really feeling was "Say" by Method Man. There are probably a few more I can't remember off the top, but that's recent enough for my point. I do like a fair amount of Southern rap, however, just some of the older stuff (i.e. Outkast's first 3 albums, Scarface), or folks trapped in the system (i.e. Houston's Big Lurch, who's currently in prison since 2004 for the PCP-enduced murder and cannaballisim. Yeah, I thought that shit was crazy too, but that made me curious as to how his mic skills are. As a result, his album It's All Bad is actually pretty good for blunt sessions).

Now in regards to Southern rap on the radio, if you mean that stuff like "It's Goin' Down" or "Shoulder Lean", that kind of rap hasn't caught my fancy in the past 4 years or so. But I know there's other Southern representatives on our airwaves, so clarify this - Are you referring to all of it on the radio, or just certain...formulas, if you will.
